Pierre Piech, alias Piotr, is a Marseille-based illustrator and graphic designer trained at the Institut Saint-Luc ESA in Brussels. After his art studies, he illustrated for the press and literary magazines, combining his Eastern European roots with a sensitivity to European aesthetics. He gradually specialized in creating decorative posters celebrating Marseille and the sea, developing a refined style with 1930s typography and vibrant colors.
His graphic universe captures the tenderness and moods of different periods, transforming Marseille monuments—such as the Basilica, the Vieux-Port, Gabian, and local architecture—into minimalist and colorful compositions. His posters enjoy great success with concept stores, decorative shops, and private clients seeking to brighten their interiors. Pierre Piech personally creates and manufactures his own posters and postcards, distributed at Undartground and other Marseille venues. Represented by the Comillus Paris agency, he combines minimalist design, Marseille humor, and retro aesthetics to offer an atypical and poetic vision of the city.
